Jane O. (Rogers) Irish, 86, of Stafford Springs, CT was called home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2013 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Mamie J. Shank and Charles L. Rogers. She was born in C Read Obituary
So sad to hear of Auntie Jane's passing. She always looked out for me and included me like I was one of her children after I moved to CT. I will miss her phone calls, stories and birthday cards. My thoughts and love are with all my cousins who lost their Mom and Nannie.
I am so sorry to hear of Jane's passing. While not entirely surprising, it was just too soon. Jane watched over we 'kids' as if she was our own mother and our mother did the same for the Irish 'kids'. I enjoyed listening to her, visiting, hanging out with the family and so many other fun memories. Jane never failed to send a handmade card for my birthday too. Jane will be missed by all the Soucy's. She was an integral part of our family for our entire lives. My love to all who mourn her loss. May she rest in peace knowing so many cared and appreciated her talents, great smile and kindness.
