James M. Gilligan

James M. Gilligan, 58, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2022. He was born in Staten Island, NY, son of Patricia (Slear) Gilligan and the late Francis A. Gilligan. Jim served our country in the United States Air Force, and had worked as a machine programmer for Conval for 30 years. Jim enjoyed music and was a big Grateful Dead fan. Besides his mother, Patricia, Jim is survived by two sons, Dylan and Garth Gilligan; four siblings, Dwayne Banagan and her husband Jim, Gary Gilligan and his wife Nancy, Eryn Gilligan and her partner Dan Young, and Sean Gilligan and his wife Robin; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
