Lynn "Butch" W. Bridenbaker III

June 8, 2020

Lynn “Butch” W. Bridenbaker, III, 75, of Stafford Springs, CT, and formerly of Buffalo, NY and Ft. Myers Beach, FL, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Evergreen Health Care Center. Butch was born in Olean, NY, son of the late Lynn W., II and Marguerite (Burton) Bridenbaker. He was raised in Tonawanda, NY and was a graduate of Kenmore East High School and the State University of New York at Buffalo. Butch is survived by his three children, Tracy Perrier, Mack Bridenbaker and his wife Lindsay, and Mandie Dippold and her husband Rob; four grandchildren, Brandon and Megan Perrier, Sydney Dippold, and Grace Bridenbaker; four siblings, Jeffrey Bridenbaker and his wife Sue, Dianne Kehr and her husband Leroy, Loretta Ziff, and Michael Bridenbaker and his wife Pat; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately. Butch was a son, brother, father, step-father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was part shaman and part rock star. He was a teacher. And he was a storyteller, just like his dad. Butch’s life was defined by music and by experiences with friends and family. Music was a constant in his life. It shaped his world and the man that he was. Every day had a soundtrack. Every lyric had a meaning. Butch didn’t just get through life, he experienced it. Summertime road trips out west as a kid, playing football, good times at Sherkston Beach, camping in North Collins, dancing at Mama’s, Connecticut birthday celebrations, beach play datesand Buffalo breakfasts with his grandchildren, concerts, rides on the Harley, days spent laughing in the bars and watching sunsets inFt. Myers Beach, Daytona Beach and Key West, drumming at Native American Pow-Wows, weekends at Sun Valley, visits to the hawk sanctuary and a spiritual journey to South Dakota. None of these experiences were lived alone. Butch was always surrounded by people who loved him. People who couldn’t wait for what he would say next. People that wanted to live that moment with him. And those are the memories that made him a wealthy soul. To leave an online donation in his name, please visit the Crazy Horse Memorial: https://crazyhorsememorial.org/. Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., Stafford Springs, CT, has care of the arrangements. To leave a condolence online for the family, please visit: www.introvignefuneralhome.com
