My prayers go out to Margarets family. I know how much she meant to all who knew and loved her. I have never had a friend so dear. I feel lucky to have known her for the last 12 years. Our conversations and advocacy meetings, supporting each other through life’s challenges, her wisdom and optimism, her laughter whenever it was needed most, I will be missing it all. Margaret’s heart was huge. We bonded as fellow brain injury family members and ended up talking almost daily about everything in our lives. Rest easy my dear and special friend. I will miss you beyond words.
