Michael D'Amico's Obituary
Michael Sal D’Amico, 46, of Union, CT, son of the late Sal and Rita (Gilman) D’Amico, was taken from this earth unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. He was an avid fisherman and Harley Davidson enthusiast, but his true passion came from spending time with his beloved daughter, Hannah. He was a graduate of Windham Tech in Willimantic, and owned and operated his own electrical service company for over 20 years out of his home in Union. Besides his daughter Hannah, Michael also leaves behind two sisters and two brothers, Patti Rossi and her husband Roger of Stafford Springs, CT, Donna Doyker and her husband Al of Somers, CT, Al D’Amico and his wife Patrene of Stafford Springs, CT, and Donald D’Amico of San Bernardino, CA. He also leaves his many close nephews and nieces: John, Pete, and Paul Rossi, Joey D’Amico, Amy Drouin, Sarah Bollinger, Liz Doyker, Nichole D’Amico, Leean (Rossi) Brothers, Amber D’Amico and Steffie (Martel) D’Amico. He was predeceased by his big brother, Anthony D’Amico, and his nephew, Ronnie D’Amico. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 9-11 A.M. with a funeral service at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately at a later date. A reception will be held at Sun Valley Resort, Old Springfield Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, following the service. Hannah and her mom, Lisa, have asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ronald D’Amico Fund, Citizens’ Scholarship Foundation of Stafford, c/o Rose Roszczewski, P.O.
