Dalton R. "Sonny" Stelmak Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dalton R. “Sonny” Stelmak, 77, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2019. He was born in Springfield, MA, son of the late Severyn and Frances (Wasowicz) Stelmak. Sonny proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the early Vietnam era, and had retired as Vice President of Electrical Engineering from TYCO/North American Printed Circuits. Sonny is survived by his beloved wife, Burma (Greene) Stelmak; son, Shawn Stelmak and his wife Suzanne; sister, Angie Herklotz and her husband Jack; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Scott Stelmak. Sonny was an avid outdoorsmen. He loved being on the water, on his tractor, or working on the lawn and garden. Sonny had a passion to restore automobiles, and from cars to his boat, he always seemed to be behind a wheel or fixing something. Sonny was committed to his family and friends and shared his gifts by helping wherever he could. His funeral service will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
