Olga Maria Spewak

Olga Maria Spewak, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, and formerly of Woodbridge, CT, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Woodlake at Tolland. She was born in Duquesne, PA, daughter of the late Endre and Margaret (Kovacs) Sebestyen. Maria worked as a legal secretary for many years. She lived in Woodbridge, CT until 2008 and then moved to Stafford Springs, CT. She was an active member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in New Haven, and devoted a lot of time to the Christian Science Reading Room for many years. She did a lot of good for many people. She also enjoyed playing the piano, painting, and reading. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff at Woodlake at Tolland for all of their care and support. Maria is survived by her three children, Gerald Spewak, Randi Fiorello and her husband Michael, and Renee Martucci and her husband Patrick. She was predeceased by her husband, John Spewak; son, Robert Spewak; sister, Martha Young; and two brothers, George and Endre Sebestyen. Funeral services and burial will be held privately.
