Agnes Woods' Obituary
Agnes L. Woods, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Gordon A. “Buster” Woods, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Henry and Mary (King) Collette. Agnes retired as a maintenance worker from the Stafford School System. She was a member of St. Edward Parish and the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Agnes is survived by her two children, Nancy Ayer and her husband Kenneth of Maine, and Robert Woods and his wife Diane of Stafford Springs, CT; four grandchildren, Bruce Michonski and his wife Tracey, Brian Michonski and his wife Melissa, Jeffrey Woods and his wife Sally, and Bethany Hill and her husband Stephen; eight great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Mary Collette and Al and Jean Baxter; a special niece, Laura Rose and her husband Doug; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, William, Albert, Alfred, Joseph, and Clifford Collette; and three sisters, Evelina Houle, Laura Hansen, and Dorothy Cantin. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 9-10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
