Alan Gaines' Obituary
Alan W. Gaines, 62, of Converse St., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Kimberly Hall, Windsor, CT. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Douglas and Marjorie (Bailey) Sheldon. Alan retired from Carris Reels as a reel maker and also worked many years as a bouncer at Munn's Pub. He is survived by his four children, Carrie MacDonald of Ashford, CT, Jason Gaines and his wife Michelle of South Windsor, CT, Amanda McClusky and her husband Cory of Michigan, and Malisa Hall and her husband Ernest III of Stafford Springs, CT; nine grandchildren; and a brother. He was predeceased by a brother. Family and friends are welcomed to gather to celebrate Alan's life on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 5-7 P.M. at the American Legion, Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
