Alan Mcquaid's Obituary
Alan J. McQuaid, 62, of Standish Dr., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away with his loving family at his side on Monday, February 5, 2007 after a courageous eight year battle with cancer. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Edward G., Sr. and Elinora (Bertolero) McQuaid. Alan retired from Johnson Memorial Hospital building services. He greatly enjoyed cars, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his three adored grandchildren. Alan is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kay P. McQuaid of Stafford Springs, CT; a daughter and son-in-law, Joeli R. and John Robert of Monson, MA; three grandchildren, Cassidy, Trevor, and Cody; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Jason A. McQuaid; a sister, Lucy Mitta; and a brother, Edward G. McQuaid, Jr. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
