Alan Schwanda's Obituary
Alan B. Schwanda, 83, of Windsor Court, Enfield, CT, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at his home. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Benedict and Josephine (Waldmann) Schwanda. Alan was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. His interests included flight, photography, woodworking, and reading religious books. Alan is survived by a brother, Charles Schwanda of Stafford Springs, CT; two sisters-in-law, Alfea Schwanda of Staffordville, CT, and Madlyn Schwanda of New Jersey; and 20 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers and a sister. Funeral services and burial will be held privately at the family's convenience.
