Albert Artruc,'s Obituary
Albert A. Artruc, Jr., 93, of Dobson Commons Circle, Vernon, CT, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008 at Fox Hill Nursing Home, Vernon, CT. He was born in Haverhill, MA, son of the late Albert A., Sr. and Blanche (Gaudette) Artruc. Albert retired as a weaver from the former Cyril Johnson Woolen Company, and was a member of the Stafford Baptist Church and the Stafford Senior Center. Albert is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Irene L. (Morgan) Artruc of Vernon, CT; a daughter, Glennis A. Carroll and her husband Jesse 'Buddy' of Tolland, CT; two grandchildren, Dennis Carroll of Andover, CT, and Candace Joseph and her husband Stephen of Tolland, CT; two great grandchildren, Estelle Percoski and her husband Jarrod of Ellington, CT, and Jacob Elco of Tolland, CT; two great, great grandsons, Adam and Spencer Percoski; three brothers, Ernest Artruc and his wife Imogene of Florida, Eugene Artruc and his wife Mary of Cape Cod, MA, and Edward Artruc and his wife Lois of Holland, MA; two sisters, Evelyn Martin and her husband Theodore of Stafford Springs, CT, and Rita Zuraw of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Francis Artruc. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
