Albert Kaschuluk's Obituary
Albert E. Kaschuluk, 86, of Merritt Island, FL, Westerly RI, and formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, FL. Albert was born on January 1, 1924, the son of the late Michael and Julia Kaschuluk of Stafford, CT. He was married for 58 years to the late Rena M. (Zampolli) Kaschuluk. He owned a contracting business, developing properties and building homes, cottages and commercial properties along the southern Rhode Island shoreline. He also owned and operated several motels in the Misquamicut beach area. Albert was an avid sportsman and angler who fished lakes, streams and oceans in such locations as Alaska, Canada, and throughout the United States. He especially enjoyed fishing with friends and family along the shores of the Rhode Island beaches. Albert is survived by his three children, Lisa Lawson and her husband Jim of Vernon, CT, Peter Kaschuluk and his wife Ann of Westerly, RI, and Paul Kaschuluk of Vernon, CT; five sisters, Irene Spak, Nancy Stone and Hermina Fagan of Stafford CT, Amelia Schofield of Medfield, MA, and Olga Satkowski of San Francisco, CA; many nieces and nephews; and a very close friend, Robert Milvae of Merritt Island, FL. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 4-6 P.M. at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly, RI. A calling hour will also be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
