Albert Lanagan's Obituary
Albert L. Lanagan, 61, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at his home. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of Yvonne (Avery) Lanagan and the late Albert N. Lanagan. Albert worked as a custodian for the Stafford School System for 23 years. His hobbies included being a collector of antiques and listening to music, and he was an avid reader. He was said by many to be the greatest story teller they knew. Besides his mother Yvonne, Albert is survived by his daughter, Amber Lanagan and her boyfriend Jeffrey Legere; two brothers, Michael Lanagan, and David Lanagan and his wife Jean; three sisters, Laura Dennerley and her husband John, Yvonne Lanagan and her husband Maury Schold, and Diane Perko and her husband David; his former wife, Susan DuBois; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion Sir Albert Buddy Boy. His funeral will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
