Albert L. Woodworth's Obituary
Albert L. Woodworth, 88, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Patricia (Logan) Woodworth, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Plymouth, PA, son of the late Albert C. and Bessie (LeRoy) Woodworth. Albert served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and worked as a machinist at Republic Steel. He was a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion and V.F.W. Post No. 9990 of Stafford. He also enjoyed his farm, cows, hunting, and especially fishing. Albert is survived by his six children and their spouses, Patricia and Frank Niessen, Bonnie and Richard Osborne, Bruce and Laurie Woodworth, Nora and Richard Claus, Albert L., Jr. “Rusty” and Rachel Woodworth, and Judy and Roland Chirico; 11 grandchildren, Heather, Amy, Richard, Nora, Heidi, Luke, Bodhi, Alex, Laurel, Christopher, and Sara; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Betty Killen. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 9-10 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
