Aldo Comarella's Obituary
Aldo G. Comarella, 86, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2008 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Louis and Josephine (Zabot) Comarella. Aldo was self-employed as a farmer, and a member of St. Edward Parish. A lifelong resident of Furnace Avenue in Stafford Springs, he enjoyed sitting on his farm house porch waving to anyone that went by. Aldo is survived by his two sisters-in-law, Hazel Comarella and Gloria Comarella; nieces and nephews, Albert "Butch" Comarella, Linda Bouchard, Elaine Smith, Joseph Comarella, Angie Satkowski, and Robert Sedlak. He was predeceased by his three brothers and a sister, Albert, Antonio, and Angelo Comarella, and Emma S. Szynal. A calling hour will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Evergreen Health Care Center Recreation Fund, 205 Chestnut Hill Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
