Aldo "Tracy" Fontanella's Obituary
On July 8, 2015, Heaven opened the gate to welcome Aldo "Tracy" Fontanella. A lifelong resident of Stafford Springs, CT, Tracy and his beloved wife, Agnes (Vail) Fontanella, created a beautiful life together with their four daughters, Patty Smith (predeceased), Kathy Seymour, Denise Dorman and Lisa Fontanella. The love that Tracy had for his family was evident in the way that he was always there to share a warm smile, a gentle tease, and a loving embrace. He adored his sons-in-law, Dan and Leslie, as well as his grandchildren, Jason (predeceased), Brian, Rachel, and Adam, and his great-grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, and Rebecca. Tracy loved being with his eight siblings (predeceased), and numerous nieces and nephews. He proudly fought in World War II, both Pacific and European theaters, and was a member of St. Edward Church, and the Italian Benefit Society. Tracy and his dearly-loved wife, Aggie, celebrated 74 years of marriage, and showed their love in the way they looked adoringly at each other, held hands at every opportunity, and said I love you often. A celebration of Tracy's life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015, as a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Home & Community Health Services, 101 Phoenix Ave., Enfield, CT 06082, or St. Edward Church, 6 Benton St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076. Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., Stafford Springs, CT, has care of the arrangements. For online condolences, please visit www.introvignefuneralhome.com
