Alfred N. J. Cormier's Obituary
Alfred N. J. Cormier, 70, of Willington, CT, passed away on Saturday, July 16th, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, son of Stella Cormier and the late Arthur Cormier. Alfred was honored to be the owner of Cormier Construction. He took great pride in remodeling and fixing homes and cars. His hobbies included playing guitar and singing in his band, The High Country Band, antique cars, and spending time with his loved ones. Above all, he loved his family and friends and will be remembered for his unique sense of humor, telling the best jokes, and his big heart. Besides his mother Stella, Alfred is survived by his beloved wife, Denise Cormier of 52 years; four sons, Jason Cormier and his wife Julie, Robert Cormier, Jean-Paul Cormier, and Luke Cormier; eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Brandon, Allison, Jacob, Evan, Bryce, Caydence, and Jaxton; great-grandson, Jedidiah and another great grandchild on the way; two siblings, Norman Cormier; and Pauline Cormier and her husband Oscar; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family in Canada. Al is also survived by many macaronis. A celebration of life will be held to honor Al and share his jokes. All are welcome.
