Alice F. Gangaway, 81, of Willington, CT, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Windham Hospital. She was born in Fogelsville, PA, daughter of the late Howard J.H. and Irene (Lorah) Fritzinger. Alice was a member of the Federa Read Obituary
My thoughts and prayers are with the Gangaway family in their time of great loss. I am sorry to hear of Alice's passing. She will always be remembered as an honest and wholesome person, and a wonderful neighbor. As my family’s next-door neighbor for many years, she was good friends with my mother. I often recall them sharing good times and bad and conversations over coffee. They would knit and crochet together, and enjoy trips to yarn shops. Alice's flowers and gardens were always so beautiful. She was also musical. I remember her playing her piano, and singing Amazing Grace when pinning clothes on the line; what a voice! Alice's passing brings sadness and she will be missed.
Aunt Alice was a doll. Finally talked me into quitting smoking but we used to smoke together. She was alot of fun. God bless her.
