Alice M. Trinque, 88, of Union, CT, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at her home. She was born in East Douglas, MA, daughter of the late John and Alexandria (Sadowski) Makowski. Alice retired from Warren Woolen C Read Obituary

So sorry to hear of the passing of Ciocia Alice. I am so glad that I had the chance to share with her my photos and stories from my trip to Makowskie, Poland, to meet our Makowski relatives, especially cousin Halina to whom Ciocia Alice wrote for many years, and to see our family's homestead where our ancestors were born and lived, and continue to live.
