I grew up admiring Al and Shirley for their Love , Kindness, and Generosity. We send supportive thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Al. With Love, Lance Buhler.

our sympathy goes out to Al's family,as a former trumpet player myself,Al and I often discussed music.Such a great guy .He will be missed!!! Gordon Frassinelli Sr and the Frassinelli family.

I am heartbroken today hearing about the passing of my dear friend Al. I met Al while fishing at Crystal Lake. We became fast friends and spent many years fishing together. Sometimes we would throw Al’s canoe (which he made by hand) on top of his car and head to Bigelow Hollow to try our luck there. Al would bring the fish we had caught at Crystal lake (which he had smoked in his smoker) for us to eat at lunch. We would wash them down with his homemade Kahlua. How good that was!!!! What a dear sweet man and great friend. Good bless you Al and my deepest sympathies to his family, especially Heidi and Robin who he was so proud of and often spoke about. Love ya Al. The Tinti family was a neighbor of the Modr's for many years. Both Bob and Al would serenade the neighbors with beautiful music. Our sympathies to the family.

The Stafford Library would like to extend sincere condolences for the passing of your brother and uncle. Al liked to share memories of walking up blueberry hill, "Quinn Street" when he was a youngster and of the many years he played trumpet. He enjoyed reading and giving a review of the different books. He also volunteered for many years helping to do taxes for Stafford residents. He was a kind and gentle man and we are fortunate to have known him. He will be missed.
It was always a pleasure talking with Al. I would see him taking his daily walks. He had more energy than I do sometimes. He was a fine man. He will be missed.
