Anita P. Bradley's Obituary
Anita (Paolini) Bradley, 95, formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, died on March 13, 2023 at Bride Brook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Bradley. Anita was born on January 4, 1928 in Stafford Springs, CT to the late Tomaso and Enrichetta (Negro) Paolini. Affectionately known as “Nita”, she was educated at St. Edward School and graduated Stafford High School in 1945. When she went to school, the only language she knew was Italian. She had to learn English at four years old. After high school, she was employed by Lorenzetti Transportation. She married Bob on September 17, 1949. Nita also worked in the Town of Stafford Tax Collectors office, and retired from North American Printed Circuits (TYCO) in Stafford Springs, CT. Nita and Bob enjoyed spending their winters in Pompano Beach, FL for many years. She enjoyed dancing, playing BINGO, watching the Red Sox, NASCAR and UConn Women’s Basketball. She was a member of the Stafford Senior Center and previously volunteered in the kitchen for five years. Nita had a unique laugh that will be remembered by all. Not to mention her love of sweets! Anita is survived by her daughter, Cheri Bradley-Kowalyshyn of Niantic, CT, who she stayed with at the beginning of her illness. She leaves a sister-in-law, Norma Paolini; niece, Mary Ellen Finch; grand nieces, Jenna and Kristen; great grand nephew and niece, Jake and Madelyn; nephew, Tom Paolini; grand nieces, Linda and Lori; grand nephew, Tony; cousins and many friends. Anita was predeceased by her son-in-law, Keith Kowalyshyn; and her brother, Alex Paolini. She will be missed by her family and her friends in Stafford, Niantic, and Florida. Special thanks to the staff at Crescent Point at Niantic for their care. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
