Anita Genereux's Obituary
Anita E. Genereux, 92, of West St., Stafford Springs, CT, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was the widow of the late Leo O. Genereux. Anita was born in Central Falls, RI, daughter of the late Hormidas and Dorina (LeBeau) Girard. Anita attended local schools and graduated from Notre Dame High School. She lived most of her life in Central Falls. In 1968, she and her husband moved to East Providence, where he died in 1969. Anita moved to Stafford Springs in 1974 after working at Piling Chain of Barrington for five years. She was a member of St. Edward Parish and the Stafford Senior Center. Anita is survived by her five grandchildren and their spouses, Celeste and John Majek of East Hartford, CT, Marc and Margaret Maynard, Daniel and Julia Maynard, all of Stafford Springs, CT, Nicole and Al Marena of Wethersfield, CT, and Amy Maynard of Florida; her six great grandchildren, George, Emily, and Thomas Maynard, Thaddeus Maynard, all of Stafford Springs, CT, and Mary and Jillian Marena of Wethersfield, CT; many nieces and nephews; and her grand dogs, Ovila and Lady. She was predeceased by her daughter, Constance Maynard, and a sister, Loretta Charbonneau. A calling hour will be held on Monday, April 3, 2006 from 8:30-9:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. A chapel service and burial will follow at 2 P.M. at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI.
