Ann Estey's Obituary
Ann Keeler Estey, 88, of Woodstock, Connecticut, died Thursday, March 28, 2024. Ann was born on April 14, 1935 in Peabody, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Reverend Herman and Gladys Beers Keeler. Raised in West Hartford, Connecticut, she lived in New Hampshire for many years before returning to Connecticut. A devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, Ann also dedicated many years to promoting the welfare of all children through her work on local and state PTAs. Ann represented NH as the Legislative Representative for child advocacy at the state and national level of government. Her singular message that children come first enabled her to effectively promote the PTA and initiate programs on behalf of child education and welfare. Highly respected, she was the recipient of Life Member of NH PTA as well as, National PTA. The unparalleled love Ann bestowed upon her family is greatly treasured by them. Her warmth and wit will be sorely missed. Ann is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Edward Estey; her brother, Calvin Keeler; her children, Jennifer Fee, Sandra and Richard Messer, Christine and David McAskill, and James and Kathleen Hayward; and her grandchildren, Claire Fee; Emily, Anna and Sarah Messer; Christianne and Jessica McAskill; JD, Cassandra and Travis Hayward; her great granddaughter, Gwenivere Shea-McAskill; and many nieces and nephews.
