Ann Willis' Obituary
Ann Willis, 97, of Ashford, CT, wife of the late John L. Willis, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. She was born in Stafford, CT, daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Koday) Hornacek. Ann had worked in the Stafford school’s cafeteria. Her hobbies included baking, crocheting, knitting, gardening, crafts, and polka dancing with her late husband John. A loving mother and grandmother, Ann is survived by her two daughters, Joan Stachelsky and her late partner, David Brown, and Lori Goodale and her former husband Michael Goodale; two grandsons, Dustin Stachelsky and his wife Leah, and Ryan Goodale and his wife Amberly; four great grandchildren, Devin and Dylan Stachelsky, and Carson and Ava Goodale; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by eight siblings, Elizabeth Figura, Stephen Hornacek, John Hornacek, Amelia Hornacek, Christine Michalec, Lillian Willis, William Hornacek, and Francis Hornacek. Services with burial at Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
