Anna Mae Davis' Obituary
Anna Mae (Malinosky) Davis, 74, of Vernon, CT, wife of the late Charles R. Davis, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Rockville General Hospital. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late William R. and Helen (Boyko) Malinosky. Anna Mae graduated Stafford High School in 1959, and attended the Hartt School of Music in West Hartford, CT for two years. She worked as a cashier “part-time” for 40 years at First National, Edwards, and then Adams in Vernon, CT. As a teenager, she was a founding member of the “Hot Spots” orchestra playing accordion. She was also part of the “59ers Club”, which were her high school classmates she went to dinner with. Anna Mae enjoyed researching family genealogy, family get-togethers, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her cats Puff and Precious, collecting stamps, and her train setup in the basement. She also enjoyed her cardiac rehab and the many friends she made while doing it. Anna Mae is survived by her two children, Chuck Davis and his wife Mystica of Broad Brook, CT, and Michelle Jones and her husband Eric of Willington, CT; six grandchildren, Corey Davis and his wife Jessica, Christopher Davis and his wife Emily, Nolan Davis, Justin Davis and his wife Nicole, and Ashley and Angelica Mae Jones; six great grandchildren, Nathan, Liam, Ryan, Emma, Avery, and Evelyn Mae; sister, Diane Parker and her husband Ronald; sister-in-law, Carol Malinosky; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Malinosky. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
