Anna H. Zuk's Obituary
Anna H. Zuk, 92, of Stafford, CT, wife of the late Michael Zuk, Sr., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Johnson Memorial Hospital after being comforted by her family during a brief illness. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late John P. Hurchala, Sr. and Sophie (Dunay) Hurchala. In her earlier years, Anna had worked at Johnson’s Mill as a mender. She was also a member of St. Edward Church, Catholic Daughters of America Court Isabella #785, and the Stafford Senior Center. A loving mother and grandmother, Anna is survived by her three children, Sandra Locke, Gerald Zuk and his wife Milagro, and Diane McGowan and her husband Gregory; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and five great, great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Zuk, Jr. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Monday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
