Anthony J. Dentamaro's Obituary
Anthony Dentamaro, also known as AJ, was born on September 16th, 1973. He passed away unexpectedly in his home in Vernon on November 17th, 2021 at the age of 48. He was born in Hartford, CT, but spent most of his youth in Stafford, CT. He leaves behind his daughters Alyxandria Dentamaro of Inman, SC and Jaylynn Reed Lehigh of Acres, FL. He is survived by his mother Carol Soucier of Pelion, SC; predeceased by his stepfather Jack Soucier; survived by his brother Michael Hadzopulos of Ellington; his brother Christopher Hadzopulos of Vernon; and sister Deborah Hadzopulos of Newington. He also leaves behind several loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Can't forget about one of his closest pals, Bronx, his furry companion. AJ was very into sports, a big fan of the Celtics, but a die hard fan of the Red Sox. He spent many years on different pool teams, and had too many friends to count. AJ was charismatic and a kind person, he always lent a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Everybody knew his laugh from a mile away, his smile brightened any room he walked into, and also had the best cowardly lion impression. He will be greatly missed by many. Calling hours are on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT from 1-3pm, followed by a celebration of life at the American Legion in Stafford, located at 10 Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT from 3:30-6pm.
