Anthony Lusa's Obituary
Anthony M. Lusa, 76, of Patten Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, beloved husband of the late Mary Jane (Wise) Lusa, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2009. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Antonio L. and Patricia (Murray) Lusa. Tony was a U.S. Army veteran, and retired from Kaman Aircraft. He was a member of St. Edward Parish, Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion, honorary life member of the Italian Benefit Society, and member of the Stafford Fish and Game Club. Tony is survived by his daughter, Jane L. Cercena and her husband Ronald; two grandchildren, Andrew and Ellen Cercena, all of Ashford, CT; three brothers, Paul Lusa and his wife Judith of Stafford Springs, CT, Peter Lusa and his wife Sandra of Ellington, CT, and Jerome Lusa and his wife Patrice of Stafford Springs, CT; a sister, Patricia Greika and her husband Roman of Stafford Springs, CT; his close friend, Barbara Robinson of Stafford Springs, CT; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Monday, January 26, 2009, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Sunday from 2-5 P.M. at the funeral home.
