Anthony R. Salzarulo's Obituary
Anthony R. Salzarulo, 72, of Stafford Springs, CT left us to be with his Eternal Father in heaven on June 27, 2026. He was the son of Ralph and Constance Salzarulo and son-in-law of Richard and Carolyn Osborn. Anthony worked at Pratt and Whitney as a Union Machinist. Once retired after 35 years he continued on with his love for training rescue pit bulls and sharing the love for everything outdoors with his dogs. It is very rare to see a man as dedicated and loving to his family as Anthony. He put his family first in every aspect of his life; He led by example in order to ensure his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren understood that Faith and Family come first. As soon as Anthony would start laughing it would become contagious and the whole room would erupt.
He was an avid New York Giants fan with a passion for spending time by the ocean, cooking, fishing, clamming, hunting pheasant and gardening. He worked diligently so that his family could enjoy a week at "The Beach House" all together each summer since 2007.
Anthony is survived by Debra, the mother of their six children; Anthony, and his sons Anthony David, Matthew Allen, and Joshua Jeffery; Matthew and Brooke, and daughter Adalyn Yvonne Salzarulo; Amber, and her children Michael Christian, Melanie Rose, and Noah Patrick; Michael's wife Rebecca, and their children Michael Samuel and Autumn Jane MacFeat; Melanie and Joshua's daughter, Charlotte Grace Pierce; Richard his wife Chelsie, and their dogs Chloe and Nova; Jillian, and her children Natalie Jade, Finnley Lucia, and Carmela Faith Salzarulo-Syphers; Natalie and Jaden's daughter, Isabelle Marie Schneider; Paul his wife Jessica, and their children Paul Hunter, Gabriella Karen, Carter Joseph and Santino David Salzarulo; and Jade Scully and her husband Patrick, and their sons Creed Anthony and Noble Shawn Scully. His sisters Geraldine and Maria Varga and her husband Rick; and his brother Michael; his brothers-in-law Jeff and Earle and his wife Jennifer Osborn; and sister-in-law Miriam Eckel and her husband Mike. He also had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
