Antoinette Rabideau's Obituary
Antoinette “Toni” Rabideau, 93, of Stafford Springs, CT, died peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was the devoted wife of 65 years to Robert Rabideau. Toni was born in Norwich, CT on October 18, 1929, daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Barber) Lonardelli. In 1948, she graduated from the Norwich Free Academy. She retired from the Research Center of United Technologies. Antoinette enjoyed watching the UConn Huskies, traveling, and volunteering at Johnson Memorial Hospital. Besides her husband, Robert, she is survived by her three sisters, Virginia Algiere, Bomina Crouch, and Theresa Benvenuti; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers, Joseph, Jack, Anthony, and Mario Lonardelli. Per Antoinette’s request, there will be no services. Burial will be held privately in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Edward Church, 27 Church St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
