Today we say good bye today to a great man. A flawed man. One with a huge and giving heart and one with a stubborn streak to match it. One with brut strength and strength of mind. Kindness to never forget those who had less. My uncle who never missed one of my squicky band concerts in 8 years of school, who would take as many hugs from me as a child to see if my fingers could touch around his round belly. These and many more fond memories I will hold onto until we meet again. Love always,
Marge: We were very sorry to hear of Hap's passing. We always enjoyed our visits with you both during the 18 years we had our summer lake house across the street. Hap had some wonderful experiences to share and we admired this fine man. Please accept our sincere sympathy.
