I am was so sorry to read about your dad. I worked with him at JMH back in the days when the JMH staff felt like a second "family." Art was fun -loving, but so conscientious. He made the dollhouses every year for the Christmas raffle, and the Boardroom table is a legacy in itself. I have seen him a few times in the last few years, most recently when he was recuperating at Evergreen. Despite his health concerns, he was the same ole Art. He will remain a special person in my life. Thinking of you.

Dear Buhler Family Your Dad was a very special person to the Johnson Memorial Family. My husband, Al Lerz considered Art to be the true spirit of everything special at the hospital. He devoted so much of his time to keep the hospital and the grounds pleasant for the patients, visitors, and staff. Art built a table in the Board Room at the Community Medical Education Center as his donation to JMH. The table was referred to as a "Work of Art". It is a lasting tribute now in the memory of your Dad. Personally Art was a treasured friend to my husband and our entire family Rest in peace Art. Diane Lerz

Brandt, Lance and Trish - My sincere sympathy for your loss. Poor Arthur - these last few years have been difficult for him. He is my cousin, his mother and my father were brother & sister and his birthday was one day before mine. Of course, when we were really little, he lived next door to me with our grandfather and he graduated in my high school class and married my good friend, Norma. He had many good years and only since he got hurt cutting wood, it's been more difficult for him. He loved his grandchildren and when i spoke to him on the phone, would always tell me how they were.
