Aurise Smith's Obituary
Aurise V. Smith, 51, of New City Rd., Staffordville, CT, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, January 1, 2010 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. She was born in New Haven, CT, daughter of Edward and Adele (Gesner) Vynalek. Aurise had worked as a paraprofessional at the Staffordville School. She loved to ride horses, and was active in 4-H programs and the UCONN Polo club. Aurise is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, David A. Smith; her two cherished children, Ethan and Blake Smith, all of Staffordville, CT; her parents, Edward and Adele Vynalek of Higganum, CT; sister, Vivienne McGarry and her husband Robert of Haddam Neck, CT, mother-in-law, Lois Smith of Middletown, CT; brother-in-law, William Smith and his wife Nancy of Rhode Island; sister-in-law, Donna Dellacamera and her husband J.P. of Unionville, CT; and numerous other family and friends. Her funeral will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
