Auypon "Dang" McBrien's Obituary
Auypon “Dang” McBrien, 74, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bangkok, Thailand, daughter of the late Suan Sattyavanija, Sublieutenant, Royal Thai Navy, and Lamai Meechop. Dang was a staple on Main St. in Stafford, having operated Stafford Seamstress since October 10, 1993. She was a huge Red Sox fan, and loved to travel. She visited 34 baseball parks with her husband, Larry, and even watched the Red Sox play in England. Dang is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Lawrence McBrien; two daughters, Chulaluk Roy and her husband John, and Chanjira Boucher and her husband Norman; four grandchildren, Lieutenant Jason Boucher(USCG) and his wife Emily, Wesley Boucher, Geoffrey Roy and Lieutenant Amanda Roy(USCG); a great granddaughter due in August; sister, Roongthip Cashman; sister-in-law, Lauren McBrien; brother-in-law, Roy McBrien; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Funeral services and burial will be private.
