Averill Brown's Obituary
Averill J. Brown, 60, of Buckley Highway, Stafford Springs, CT, was called home by the Lord to rest on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Howell, Michigan, daughter of the late Cecil and Arloa (Esic) Vincent. Averill was co-owner with her husband of Busy Body Building Maintenance, and was an attendant of the First Congregational Church of Pomfret. Averill is survived by her beloved husband, James T. Brown; her two daughters, Alair Mitchell and her husband Caleb, and Janea Brown; a grandson, Nicolas; four siblings, Harriet Walker, Gilbert Vincent and his wife Ruth Ann, Gladys Anderson and her husband Ross, and Wesley Vincent and his wife Paula; a brother-in-law, Paul Embree; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Laurene Embree. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. A calling hour will be held on Friday from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
