Barbara Hearn-Wright's Obituary
Barbara Hearn-Wright, 90, formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late James Wright, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Vernon Manor. She was born in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Schumann) Smith. Barbara retired from Burroughs Corporation having worked as a check artist. She enjoyed baking breads and brownies, crossword puzzles, music, and chocolate. Barbara is survived by her four children, Maureen Hearn, Penny Julian and her husband Jerry, Thomas Hearn and his wife Lisa, and Christine Hearn; four grandchildren, Rama and Zach Pederson, Dustin Hearn, and Russell Nickman and his wife Krista; two great grandsons, Jackson Hearn and Cayden Pederson; two siblings, Richard Smith and Dorothy Gelpi; close family friend, Karen Diamond; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Dylan Hearn; and two brothers, Robert and Frank Smith. A calling hour will be held on Thursday February 20, 2014 from 10-11 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
