Barbara J. Robinson's Obituary
Barbara J. “Banjee” Robinson, 87, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late David H. Robinson, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Christie and Esther (Dorsey) Jensen. Barbara retired from the Warren Woolen Company as a financial secretary. She was a devout member of the Second Congregational Church of Stafford at West Stafford, where she ran the Little Shop and was financial secretary for many years. She was an avid fan of UConn basketball, and she never missed an episode of Jeopardy. Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Susan Robinson and Lisa Ostrowski; daughter-in-law, Linda Tonoli; four grandchildren, Christian Robinson, Daniel Irish, and Mettie and Isabella Ostrowski; sister, Mildred Barton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two children, Craig and Karen Robinson; and two sons-in-law, William Ostrowski and Bruce Boys. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Barbara’s life on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11 A.M. at the Second Congregational Church of Stafford at West Stafford, 197 West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will take place privately in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
