Barbara A. Taylor's Obituary
Barbara A. Taylor, 65, of Ashford, CT, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late James and Lois (Underwood) Taylor. Barbara worked as a licensed practical nurse for many years. Her hobbies included crocheting, camping, hiking (climbing Mount Washington twice), reading, playing on the computer, loved her dogs Bob and Tria, the cat KC, and watching women’s basketball, dog shows, and professional bull riding. She is survived by her life partner of 27 years, Gloria Albert; children, James Nevers and his wife Christine, Philip “PJ” Nevers and his wife Cindy, and Christine Briggs; grandchildren, Joshua Briggs and his wife Kayla, Taylor Briggs, Nicholas Briggs, Elizabeth Briggs, Seth Nevers, and Olivia Gould; great grandson, Maxwell Briggs; sisters, Susan, Teresa, Nancy, and Margaret; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Richelle Estabrook. Funeral services and burial will be held privately. Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., Stafford Springs, CT, has care of the arrangements.
