My condolences to Barbara's family. Barbara was my classmate in English and Problems of Democracy at Berlin High school. I remember her as a relatively shy but friendly girl who possessed ladylike manners and poise of another era. We sat together in POD and shared class notes, gossip and laughs. I never saw her again after graduation, but I noted her marriage in the papers and unfortunately the passing of Don a while back and now hers. I am pleased to read that hers was a successful life of family, respected employment and simple pleasures, a life well-lived. I regret that we lost track after June 6, 1959. My thoughts are with her.
