Bernice Bossie's Obituary
Bernice A. Bossie, 96, formerly of Willington, CT, wife of the late Herbert J. Bossie, Sr. passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Woodlake at Tolland after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Laconia, NH, daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Gonyer) Couture. Bernice was a member of the Tolland Senior Center. She greatly enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Bernice is survived by her two children, Bertha Lanagan and Ronald Bossie and his wife Roswitha; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 12 great, great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Herbert Bossie Jr. A calling hour will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 10-11 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Woodlake at Tolland, c/o Recreation Department, 26 Shenipsit Lake Rd., Tolland, CT 06084.
