Bertha Small's Obituary
Bertha B. Small, 88, of Tolland, CT, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011 at Hebrew Health Care, West Hartford, CT. She was born in Moretown, VT, daughter of the late Robert and Irene (Merrill) Bradley. Bertha retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as a line worker. After retirement, she moved to Northport, ME where she had operated a food pantry and share program before moving back to Connecticut in 2002. Bertha is survived by her three children, Estella Chessey and her husband Frank of Tolland, CT, Bernard Chaplin of North Windham, CT, and Dorothy Landry and her husband James "Skip" of Scotland, CT; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
