Bertha Waskiewicz's Obituary
Bertha Mary 'Betty' (Zegota) Waskiewicz, 81, of East St., Stafford Springs, CT, peacefully passed on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT after a long illness. She was born in West Warren, MA on July 23, 1925, daughter of the late Stephen and Alexandria (Cosshefan) Zegota. Betty retired from North American Printed Circuit as an inspector after 22 years of employment. She was a member of St. Edward Parish and enjoyed collecting anything pertaining to butterflies, which fascinated her since early childhood. Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years Stephen F. Waskiewicz of Stafford Springs, CT; a son Stephen J. Waskiewicz and his wife Sally Ann of Groton, CT; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald D. Waskiewicz. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, where Betty will be resting in peace with her younger son Ronald Waskiewicz.
