Betty Chambers' Obituary
Betty L. Chambers, 76, formerly of Willington, CT, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Rockville General Hospital, Rockville, CT. She was born in Abbot, ME, daughter of the late Levi and Alta (Race) Boutilier. Betty had worked in food service at the University of Connecticut for many years until retirement. She is survived by her three daughters, Vicki Hockla and her husband Charles of Manchester, CT, Allison Chambers of Chaplin, CT, and Connie Fertig and her husband Michael of Putnam, CT; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister, Shirley; and former husband, Morris “John” Chambers. She was predeceased by a daughter, Pearl Cheney; and granddaughter, Marie Reaviel. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
