Beverly J. Swift's Obituary
Beverly J. (Hetu) Swift, age 85, of Union, CT, beloved wife of Nathan B. Swift, passed away peacefully at Baystate Wing Hospital on Thursday, October 20, 2022. Beverly was born on December 3, 1936 in Putnam, CT to the late Beatrice (Bates) and Alfred Hetu. She settled in Union, CT to raise her family and was married 63 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children: Jeffery L Swift, wife Roslyn and son Zachary; and Cheryl A Cyr, husband Gary Cyr and daughter Cara (Cyr) Dong, husband Michael Dong. Two great grandchildren, Liam and Charles Dong; one sister, Janet (Hetu) Peterson; and many cousins and nieces. Beverly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing on Sundays with close friends and taking walks around town, especially in Bigelow Hollow State Park. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 P.M. at Union Center Cemetery, Cemetery Rd., Union, CT.
