Bradford T. Hunt's Obituary
Bradford “Brad” T. Hunt, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on December 18, 2025.
Brad was born on June 13, 1956 in Hartford, CT. He attended many different schools in 12 years and graduated Windsor High School, Windsor, VT in 1974. He entered the United States Air Force in 1975 where he was a special vehicle technician. He was stationed at Seymour John Air Force Base his entire career and was Honorably Discharged in 1978. He was an owner-operator trucker for over 20 years and travelled throughout the United States delivering all sorts of merchandise, to include gasoline, glass and luxury vehicles. He was very particular about his Peterbilt truck, it was meticulously maintained and well kept. He moved to Florida to get away from the New England cold and ice. When he gave up truck driving, he went to work for Air Power Services in Florida as an air compressor mechanic. He became a master compressor technician, relocated to Connecticut and continued working in the air compressor industry until he passed. Brad loved his family and friends. He would do almost anything for anyone, you just had to ask. He was the happiest when he had the opportunity to use construction vehicles, especially bulldozers or backhoes. He spent many days helping his nieces and nephews with their projects, both vehicular and construction. He loved going to car races and working on cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, and tractors. He always enjoyed his time going on the annual motorcycle trip with the guys. But most of all, he loved and enjoyed the company and friendship of Brigitte Nolin. She was the anchor of his life.
Brad is survived by his girlfriend, Brigitte Nolin and siblings Kathleen A. Woodward (David, deceased) of San Diego, CA; Lorra Robert (James) of Gulf Breeze, FL; Constance Walker (Scott) of Plainfield, NH; Roger Hunt (Patricia) of Charlestown, NH; Lorraine Adams of FL; David Hunt of CT; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters, Susan L. Rood, Elaine M. Collier; and brothers, Theodore A. Hunt and Eugene Hunt.
