Dear Auntie Alice, cousins Dennis and Darryl with families,
I was so sorry to hear that Uncle Bounce died on Wednesday. Mom and Dad reached me late last night with the sad news.
Though we haven't seen all that much of each other in the years after our family moved to California, I remember the family get-togethers and some vacations before our move to the west coast and visits most summers after that. Uncle Bounce is in those memories. When visiting after my move to Europe, what I remember best is Uncle Bounce's interest. How's the old country? I knew his family was from Poland and I had visited several cities there, but what I didn't know until now was that he fought in WWII. Maybe his questions had a deeper meaning. I will remember him as a kind and interested person.
I send my sincerest condolences.
My thoughts are with you all at this time.
Love,
Debbie
