Burma R. Stelmak's Obituary
Burma R. Stelmak, 81, formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024 in Cape Coral, FL. The daughter of the late James D. Greene and the late Francis L. Greene of Stafford, CT, she is survived by her son Shawn R. Stelmak and his wife Suzanne of Cape Coral, FL. She is also survived by her brother, James D. Greene and his partner Susan Taylor, two nephews, James Greene III and his wife Lora, William Greene and his wife Becky and their daughter Marley. She was predeceased by her husband, Dalton R. Stelmak, her son, Scott Christian Stelmak, and an infant son. Burma was an avid sewer, loved reading books, cooking, and playing board games with her family. She graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University while working at UConn. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Her committal service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 12:00 PM at St. Edward Cemetery, West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
