Burton Davis' Obituary
Burton A. Davis, 72, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Burton A. and Margaret (Tietz) Davis. Burt was the owner and operator of Monson Road Garage, which has been in the family for over 65 years. Burt is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carol (Mills) Davis; three children, Kimberly J. Davis, Burton R. Davis and his wife Cindy, and Lynn D. Carter and her husband Mark; four grandchildren, Mark and Kasey Carter, and Derek and Leah Davis; sisters, Arlene Allard and Alberta Groth; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert and Donna Mills and James and Ann Mills; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Vera Mitchell. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Monday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Burton A.
