Marking one year, since Debra, their family, and all the lives he touched, said goodbye to someone in my estimation, was my favorite pastor at Second Congregational Church of West Stafford
If l could do things differently, l would have accepted his wisdom about things. A year can make a big difference, even for an old lady like me.
If not for his excellent reference in 2014, l never would have gotten my first apartment in Wilmington Vermont
When one of his sermons, mentioned lines from a Joni Mitchell song, the rest of my Sunday, had me singing songs from her albums, Ladies of the Canyon or Clouds or Blue; all late 1960's and early 1970's.
I gotta go now Pastor Carl.
I just wanted to let you know, l was thinking about you 💛
Always,
DeDe
I grew up working at the camps Carl directed. I learned a great deal from Carl. He was a nice man. He was so proud of his little babies. We loss track of each other, but I always remembered Carl and how he had touched my life. I am so sorry to hear he had passed.
We are so sorry to learn of Carl's passing. He was our pastor here in Canterbury when we first started attending church here. We have fond memories of him as a pastor and of your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Fondly,
David & Janet Lamb
I'm so very sorry to hear of Carl's passing. He was such a nice guy. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. I am glad that I did get to know him and hear a few of his sermons when I was done visiting my family for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I was glad that my husband and I were able to show him and Debra around the WW&F Ry Museum while they were up here in Maine the other summer. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

During my junior high and high school years, Carl was a counselor at Silver Lake and Camp family.
I remember him well. So sorry for your loss
I have many fond memories of Carl while we worked together at Habitat for Humanities. The most striking was his ability to weave in many diverse spiritual leaders and guidance into to his morning prayers on the worksite. We often heard Native American, Buddhist, secular and other sources for his Christian prayer. He helped open our eyes to the wonder and joy of life around and within us.
He will be missed.
